PILATES

I probably posted about this already in the past, but I"m going to do it again anyways. About a year and a half or so ago, I was in really good shape, and did Pilates 3 times a week on a regular basis. Its been about a year now since I've worked out AT ALL, EVER. 

A week ago, FINALLY got off my lazy butt and pulled out this DVD and started working out again.

 I use to use the Winsor Pilates DVD which is a longer workout and is also a great dvd. I got this one to try something different. On this DVD there are about 10 workouts under 15 minutes, and 10 over 15 minutes. There are workouts for each area of your body, and workouts that use weight, a pilates ring, a weighted ball, and a big stability ball. 


The workout I usually do and have chosen to do the past week is the 13 minutes mat workout. Its the basic quick pilates workout that works your whole body without any props. It works for me because I dont have/want to spend very much time working out. I can also choose from the other workouts on the dvd if I have more time to spend. It's also so nice to be able to do it in a couple minutes and in the comfort of my own home .The dvd only cost me 6 bucks back when I bought it, and i checked amazon and it's still about that price right now. Im excited that I finally found the motivation to work out again, and hope I can keep it up.
